Hi SSS and ECC,
I am writing to seek help on how to file my EC Claim. My last day in our office before i got tested positive for Covid-19 is February 24,2021 , since Feb 25,2021 is Holiday, my Swab test was done Feb.26, 2021. As per our HR ,i am not entitled to file EC claim reimbursement because i was not tested daw po during work, eh holiday nga po yung feb. 25,2021. And imposible naman po na nung feb.25 ko lang po nakuha yung Covid-19. Sabi po kasi ng HR namin hindi work related...eh araw-araw naman po ako pumapasok, ibig sabihin po during the week. Can i file po ba nito online? Thank you

Filing of sickness, together with the EC claim, can be done online. For qualifications/eligibility, you may access your My.SSS account. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
