I would like to inquire, if a previous SSS member becomes a GSIS member, can that member still voluntarily continue contributing to his/her SSS so that he/she will still be able to enjoy the retirement benefits of SSS?

Yes, a previous SSS member can still contribute voluntarily whenever they wish to do so.
