Cancellation of my Calamity Loan. 1 month mahigit na po pero no action si sss. Auto cancellation na daw pero hanggang ngayon hindi pa din nacacancel yung calamity loan ko sa knila due to wrong acount number. nabago ko na din yung account number ko para makapag reapply sana kaso hanggang ngayon di pa nila kinacancel. 
sana magawan nila agad ng action. salamat

Your Request

You asked for Request for CALAMITY LOAN cancellation/follow up on my salary loan.

Response to Request

Submission of COVID-19 CLAP application with invalid/erroneous bank details (ie. incorrect bank account/bank name, no existing bank account, closed account, frozen bank account) in the BEM shall result to non-crediting of loan proceeds or automated cancellation of approved loan.

The process of cancellation is as follows:

An SMS notification shall be sent to the member about the unsuccessful crediting of loan proceeds to the nominated bank.
1. Member must log-in to the My.SSS facility in the SSS website (www.sss.gov.ph) and re-encode in the BEM under the E-Services tab the correct bank details.

2. Member must re-apply/re-submit a new COVID-19 CLAP application using the correct bank account details.

Note: Individual requests for cancellation from members is no longer needed as automated loan cancellations shall be done on a regular basis by SSS upon receipt of report of unsuccessful crediting from the settlement bank. Said report is submitted to SSS within three (3) days from the date of unsuccessful crediting.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
