Hi. I applied for my SSS Unemployment benefit. As an OFW - Seafarer who has been involuntarily repatriated up until now I have not been to work yet. I applied last November 2020. I made lots of follow up and got no response I gave up with my last member relations ticket sent last March 29, 2021 (Ticket 2023289570). It was quite frustrating that I have not at all received my SSS Unemployment worst got no response with all my follow ups after completing all the instructions they asked me to do. Reason I opt to this effort maybe someone here could give light to what's the status of my application

You may verify the status of your SSS Unemployment Benefit claim application by registering and creating your My.SSS account found on the SSS Website @ www.sss.gov.ph or visit the link https://fb.watch/ae9awzdzaq/  for further details.

Your FOI request is approved. 

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to SSS President and CEO Aurora C. Ignacio. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
