Hi I would like to request for the agency's Policy on Applicable Fees for FOI Request (Schedule of Fees) this will be used as a reference for the crafting of the USeP Schedule of Fees for FOI Requests (Reasonable Cost of Reproduction, Copying, and/or Delivery of the Information).

Dear Mr. Robert Satorre:

This refers to your email request dated 19 July 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request: 

“Hi I would like to request for the agency’s Policy on Applicable Fees for FOI Request (Schedule of Fees) this will be used as a reference for the crafting of the USeP Schedule of Fees for FOI Requests (Reasonable Cost of Reproduction, Copying, and/or Deilvery of the Information).”

Purpose/(s) stated for request:   Benchmark fort he crafting of the USeP Schedule of Fees for FOI Requests

Response to your request: 

As indicated in the UP FOI Manual, "The UNIVERSITY shall not charge any fee for accepting FOI requests" but shall “notify the requesting party in case there shall be a reproduction and copying fee in order to provide the information.” It also indicated that the University  i.e. the University of the Philippines System (which includes all constituent universities such as UP Diliman, UP Manila, UP Los Baños, etc) shall post the schedule of fees in its website.  However, since there is no schedule of fees posted in the University’s website, UP Diliman does not charge for reproduction and copying fee.
