29 April 2021 Dear Ms. Claudine Dungo: This refers to your request dated 27 April 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request “Good day! I am currently writing a research paper on how market survey evidence is treated by the Court in Trademark Infringement and Unfair Competition cases. Would it be possible to have a copy of such cases? If the scope is too big, even just for the last 10 years would be ok.” Purpose/(s) stated for request: Research We are constrained to DENY your request as the same requires us in effect to perform research services for you and therefore your request falls outside the ambit or purview of the abovementioned E.O. and the Constitutional provision that it seeks to implement.
