In light of the recent statement of the reputable director, Dr. Legaspi, published on an online news article by ANCX’s Bam Abellon, we were simply compelled to enquire about the profile of waste management system of the hospital, specifically on the cost of disposal. To quote, “as a tertiary hospital, [PGH] facility accumulates around 1.2 to 1.5 tons of garbage daily. Disposing waste can cost 1.2 to 1.3 million pesos a month, and this amount continues to rise with the increasing number of patients.”
