To whom it may concern, we are currently working on our feasibility study entitled "SkyTread: A Feasibility Study on Implementing Runway Grooving Services at Manila International Airport"

We are currently in need of data concerning your runways, or more specifically, records of event of incidents that may have occurred in the runway such as hydroplaning or sudden angle changes, landings or departures losing traction, or generally any incidents that water in the runway may have been a primary constituent of.

Runway groovings are those lines that are systematically carved onto runways to serve the purpose of acting as drainages for runways and helps in alleviating cases of hydroplaning and reduced frictions on runways that may cause incidents if ignored.

It is known in the Philippines that rainy seasons are long and could even cause flooding. Based on this fact, we thought of creating a company that helps in this regard, that is the Runway Grooving Company.

The purpose of this letter is to obtain feedback from organizations regarding whether or not they intend to use our services if the company becomes operational.

The price is based on the size of the runway to be grooved, with $2.25/P125.00 sqm. This price is that yet unaffected by inflation and is based on the companies currently existing in foreign countries. This comes along with the promise of quality
