a.) Material Properties of Angat Dam and its embankment zones
b.) Geotechnical Data of the dam and the different embankment zones (soil / rock types, unit weight, cohesion, angle of inclination, and internal angle of friction)
c.) Shear wave velocities of foundation rock formations of the dam

I refer to my letter of Mar 08, 2021 08:23:45 PM; about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Material Properties and Geotechnical Data of Angat Dam.

Our response to your request is due on Mar 29, 2021 08:23:45 PM. Unfortunately, we would need more time to process your request since we do not have the primary data on this information and the data would have to be requested from the operators of the dam.

Good day! No problem with the delay. Does this mean that we can surely retrieve the data we are asking for? Also, is it alright if I request for another data in relation to Angat Dam under this request which is being processed? If possible, I would like to request for the structural data of Angat Dam as well.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact MWSS Corporate Office at info@mwss.gov.ph, or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal.
Initially, we tried to request for the data from the MWSS Common Purpose Facility Management but the request was unsuccessful. We hope you understand the situation.
