Hi atty! I would like to inquire if HOA can hold our water application as we are living under NAPOCOR line?

Our HOA insists that we are not eligible to apply for a new account in manila water since we are not part of homeowners association. Ever since, we are paying our monthly dues in the subdivision but started last year they advise us not to pay our monthly dues anymore. 

Currently, we have a submeter account in our neighbor but he this is just temporary.

I hope you can help us with our concern. Thank you and more power!

Please be advised that the MWSS RO is mandated to regulate only the two concessionaires, Manila Water Company, Inc. (MWCI) and Maynilad Water Services, Inc. (MWSI). 

If you are covered by the services of either of the two (2) concessionaires, please contact hotline 1626/ customer.helpdesk@mayniladwater.com.ph for Maynilad or 1627/ info@manilawater.com for Manila Water so they can act on your query or concern immediately. You may also inquire at their nearest Business Office, or in their respective FB page or website.

If you are not covered by the services of either of the two (2) concessionaires, you may try reaching out to your concerned Local Government Unit (LGU) regarding the matter.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Chief Regulator Patrick Lester N. Ty. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
