Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jan 27, 2022 09:00:59 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You requested for the number of Notices of Strike/Lockout (NS/L) cases and Actual Strike/Lockout (AS/L) cases filed with the Board with the corresponding number of workers involved from 1980 onwards. 

Your FOI request is approved. We are happy to provide you with the statistical data as requested. However, please be informed that the NCMB started operations only in 1988, thus, the data herewith provided covered 1988 to 2021 only. 

Enclosed is a copy of the NS/L and AS/L Table .

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Silvestre H. Bello III with email addresses, secshb3@dole.gov.ph, osec@dole.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
