Good day!

I would like to request from your office the Database or Directory of Halal-availed companies, Establishments, Hotels, Restaurants and Halal Certified Products as mentioned in page 58 of your Operations Manual, which I quote in full,

"V-2.2. Establish Database or Directory of Halal-availed companies, Establishments, Hotels, Restaurants and Halal Certified Products

Establish a database of Halal companies and manufacturers (with Halal products), establishments, Hotels, Restaurants, and Halal products for ready reference and record purposes."

Thank you for your request dated Sep 15, 2019 11:54:56 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Database or Directory of Halal-availed companies.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. When the NCMF Operations Manual was approved in 2016, Republic Act No. 10817 was also passed superseding the functions of the NCMF. You may also contact the Department of Trade and Industry's Philippine Accreditation Board for further inquiries. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Saidamen B. Pangarungan at ncmf.osec@gmail.com. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
