I am a SHARI’AH LAWYER (Muslim lawyer/Counselor), infact I am the Top-2 during the SPECIAL SHARIAH BAR EXAMINATION counducted by the Supreme court last January 2018. I applied for a specific position in the National Comission on Muslim Affairs last September 2018 pa po but till now I have no any updates regarding my application. I have seen many vacant positions that they posted in Social media but still I didn’t recieve any news regarding my application. I have the qualifications but they just ignored my application. This is not merely a request for assistance but also a complaint. Thankyou!

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, we would like to inform you that other factors such as work experience and qualification standards apply to such positions. Also, we do not have positions that is akin to Shari'ah Law pratice. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Saidamen B. Pangarungan at ncmf.osec@gmail.com. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
