Hello BIR. May question po sana po matulungan niyo po ako about sa tax for feasibility study purposes only lang po.

Thesis title ko po ay Drive Thru Along Pasig River (parang floating restaurant po) under by law po Presidential Decree No. 274 may incentive daw po automatic yung mga nag enhance po utilization  Pasig River; like floating Restaurant. 
Ang tanong ko po ay if ever po ba ay consider po ba na ang study ko ay ma ggrant as tax holiday po? 

Sana po matulungan niyo po ako sa akin katanungan. Maraming salamat po.

Bb. Joana Rose Bariuad:

Una po ay nais naming ipagbigay alam sa inyo na ang National Tax Research Center (NTRC) at Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) ay magkaibang opisina. Hindi po kami BIR, ngunit pareho po kaming nasa ilalim ng Department of Finance.

Hindi awtomatik na makakakuha ng incentives ang proyektong "Drive Thru Along Pasig River".  Ang mga sinasabing "incentives" na maari sanang makuha sa ilalim ng PD 274 ay pinawalang saysay o binawi na ng Executive Order 93 (effective March 10, 1987).

Ang ano mang proyekto/investment ay kailangan munang magparehistro sa Board of Investments (BOI) at ang aktibidad ay nakalista  sa Investment Priorities Plan ng BOI para makakuha ng income tax holiday (ITH), exemption from taxes and duties on equipment, atbp. O kaya naman ay rehistrado sa ilalim ng  batas tulad  ng Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority  (TIEZA) Law o  Republic Act  9593 at mga batas sa Economic Zones (RA 7916, RA 7227, atbp.) para makakuha ng kahalintulad na tax incentives.
