You asked for Minimum Wages in the Philippines for 2019.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Please be informed that the data you are requesting are available in the National Wages and Productivity Commission’s website at www.nwpc.dole.gov.ph. Kindly follow the following steps to navigate to the specific information you need:  

Step 1. Visit the NWPC website at www.nwpc.dole.gov.ph 
Step 2. Click the "MEDIA CENTER" tab on the menu bar 
Step 3. Click "Statistics" (4th bullet point)  
Step 4. Click the 4th item on “Summary of Daily Minimum Wage Rates in Non-Agriculture by Region, covering the period from 1989 to the present” 

To get the regional prevailing minimum wage rates in 2019 with complete wage structure by region (non-agriculture, agriculture, plantation, non-plantation, retail/service, as the case may be), you may check the previous wage orders uploaded in our website through the following steps: 

Step 1. Visit the NWPC website at www.nwpc.dole.gov.ph 
Step 2. Navigate to the "RTWPBs Menu" (Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards Menu).  
Step 3. Click on "Region" to select the specific Regional Tripartite Wage and Productivity Board 
Step 4. Click on "Previous Wage Order" to access the previous wage orders issued in the region  

Please take note that wage structures, dates of issuance, and effectivity dates of wage orders vary per region.   



Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to NWPC Exec. Dir. Maria Criselda R. Sy. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
