Zamora 08:25 PM, Aug 17, 2020

Hi, I would like to get the following information:

A. Number of reintegration programs (economic, social, and psychosocial) recipient from 2010 - 2019 (per province)
B. Annual growth (%) of reintegration programs recipient from 2010 - 2019 (per province)

This request is similar to the below request that was accepted and responded to last year by your office. I am hoping you could provide me an updated data covering up until 2019 and if possible, disaggregated per province in the Philippines. Thank you!

Dear Ilyanna,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Aug 17, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request was previously denied because of incomplete information. In our response to your Aug. 16, 2020 request (tracking no. 305193856477) we cited that you must classify the type of reintegration benefits/services.
For OWWA reintegration benefits, you can view it at owwa.gov.ph. The programs under Reintegration are listed.
You were also advised o check other government agencies including the LGU of Batangas which is the area of your thesis.

As a graduate student, you must first search for the available data and studies published or unpublished. Particularly on the definition of reintegration and its scope.

The NEDA MTPDP Reports consolidates annually the efforts of government agencies including the LGUs on matters related to the OFWS. Likewise, the Phil. Statistics Authority have sufficient data on the OFWs.

We were able to determine that this particular information is already available online and therefore cannot be counted as a valid FOI request.
Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Hans Leo J. Cacdac by email: eas@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).

Thank you.

Respectfully,
MCDMErum
FOI Officer
