Thank you for your request dated Oct 08, 2023 10:29:32 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch'for Numbers of OFWs in NCR (2001-2023).

Be correctly informed that it is the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) who has a list of documented OFWs.  Open their website for instructions on how to access the data you need.

Moreover, be correctly informed that the Overseas Workers Welfare  Administration (OWWA)is a government agency  under the DMW.  OWWA keeps data on its OWWA-Member OFWs.  And, not all OFWs are OWWA member.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.

However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
