I would like to consult your office and ask for permission to secure copies of data regarding the project for hypothetical study for my thesis.
1.Statistics regarding the number of OFW under your jurisdiction MIMAROPA Region.
A.Mean average of Age and Gender.
C.Job industry they mostly belong
D.Highest rate of country destination for the OFW
2.Number of OFW applicants in the year up to present.
3.Number of OFW designated by Sea-based & Land-based work.
4.Where in MIMAROPA has the highest number of applicants for OFW.
If there is any information you could provide or disclose, I'd appreciate it

By age, major work occupation, and sex.

Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Oct 26, 2023 09:25:40 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for Statistics of OFW aspirants and Balikbayans in MIMAROPA Region.
Ms. Jarabe you can either inquire from the Department of Migrant Welfare or Philippine Statistics Authority on data about OFWs as well as the disaggregated data. However, I doubt if they can provide you with information of OFW Aspirants since government monitors actual demographic details and not perception or aspiration of the population.
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.
However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
