Dear Ms. Katrina Santarita,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 03, 2023 07:15:08 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch for Cash Assistance for OFWs Afflicted by covid19.

Ms. Santarita be correctly informed that the financial assistance and other social benefits with COVID- 19 has ended..  The World Health Organization has officially declared the world-wide end of the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2022.  As such, if your are only applying now. we are sad to say that the financial allocation is no longer available as per joint agreement of the inter-agency task force for the health pandemic.

You may inquire at the Philippine Embassy nearest you or at the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia if they have available assistance for you..  

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing the OWWA- FOI Decision Makers at email: foi_dm@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within FIFTEEN (15) calendar days from the date you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within THIRTY (30) calendar days from the date we received your review request.

However, if you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
