I would like to obtain information regarding the OFW Assistance Information System (OASIS) system. Particularly, I would like to know:

1.) The contractor(s) involved in building the OASIS system;
2.) The approved budget and actual expenses of building the OASIS system;
3.) The documents relating to any public request for proposal and bidding process for the project;
4.) Any administrative orders issued by DOLE for the implementation, construction, funding, and management of this OASIS system;
5.) Any privacy policies implemented by DOLE or the contractor(s) regarding the personal data.

You asked for OFW Assistance Information System (OASIS) Contractor, Budget, Bidding Process.

The right agency to respond to your inquiry is the Department of Labor and Employment. 

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. However, you may wish to contact  Secretary Silvestre Bello III of the Department of Labor and Employment at osec@dole.gov.ph.

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Administrator Hans Leo J. Cacdac at rem@owwa.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
