Good Day,
Further to the Systems Detailed Design of the Metro Manila Subway Project (Phase I), one function is to provide necessary information to protect passengers and railway facilities from specified natural disasters. Sensors of anemometer, rain gauge, seismograph, and water level gauges will be installed along the railway line. I would like to request for the ff:
1. Applicable Philippine Guidelines & Standards for Disaster Prevention;
2. Government standards to be followed for buying/procurement of sensors: anemometer, rain gauge and water level gauges;
3. Specific Agency to engage.

>>> if you are referring to the selection of sensors (rain gauge, ultrasonic sensor, etc.), we used sensors that undergone rigorous research and testing and compatible with the ASTI-designed datalogger. Further, please note that our rain gauge sensors are calibrated by PAGASA to make sure that we are following the World Meteorological Organization standards.
