Thank you for receiving my letter regarding the site visitation. The site visitation is part of our requirement in pursuing my thesis. Our college is trying to make our thesis as realistic as possible, thus, we are required to physically visit and inspect each of our chosen sites for my proposed thesis project Philippine Entrepreneurs' Academy.
Regarding the synopsis of my thesis, the proposed Philippine Entrepreneurs' Academy is a tertiary school dedicated for Entrepreneurship and Business Administration programs. The proposal originated from the senate bill no. 2442--AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE PHILIPPINE ENTREPRENEURS' ACADEMY, APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
The proposed project aims to promote entrepreneurial education by providing undergraduate degree programs, short-term technical-vocational non-degree courses, and modular training within its area of competency and specialization, pursuant to the mandates of the Academy.
The main goal of this research is to design the first state-run entrepreneur’s academy with a specialized approach in providing entrepreneurship education in dedicated facilities that will train the students in an environment that demands excellence, promotes risk-taking and space for early failure for the sake of learning. This institution aims to pioneer entrepreneurship education and generate more entrepreneurs that create more job opportunities in the future.
Since this is a requirement for an architectural thesis, the following are architectural objectives.
a. To explore and identify the influence of physical spaces on the academic environment for entrepreneurship.
b. To apply Creative Spaces in the entrepreneurship academy to be able to design a space that fosters innovation and creativity among entrepreneur students.
c. To explore and apply the impact of inclusive design on the development of creative spaces in a learning environment.
