Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated November 16, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You requested for recorded pictures of tilapia diseases that exist in the country, along with the appropriate disease labels for each image. A compilation of as many pictures of tilapia diseases (especially in Taal, Batangas).

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the data/information you have requested. We coordinated with our Provincial Fisheries Office-Batangas, Batangas Inland Fisheries Technology Outreach Station (BIFTOS) and Regional Fisheries Laboratory Section (RFLS), and according to them there is no disease found in tilapia of Taal, Batangas. 

However, you may inquire with the National Fisheries Research and Development Institute (NFRDI), which is the primary research arm of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. You may address your letter to:
