Good day! We are 4th year students from the Philippine State College of Aeronautics conducting a study entitled Analysis of Human/Crew Errors in Operational Communication from the Human Systems Integration (HSI) Perspective. As part of our study, we will be conducting a survey and we will be needing the total number of pilots and flight dispatchers deployed at NAIA (all terminals) this year as they will be our respondents. We hope that you can help us with this matter as this is part of our requirements as a graduating student. Thank you and God bless!

Dear F. Watson,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 06, 2023 07:51:56 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for The total number of Flight Dispatcher and Pilot deployed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance CAAP does not have the information you have requested. On the other hand, you may try to send your request to our local and foreign airlines since they directly employ the pilots and flight dispatchers in NAIA (All Terminals).

In addition, the number of pilots deployed is based on the airlines' daily flight schedules, while the number of flight dispatchers are based on those assigned at their Operations Control Center (OCC) which can be located within their Main Base or at the location of their third party handler (Contracted).

We hope that this information will help you and your classmates in Philippines State College of Aeronautics complete your study on Human/Crew Errors in Operational Communication from the Human Systems Integration (HSI) Perspective.

For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: https://www.foi.gov.ph/help.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to foi_officer@caap.gov.ph. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
