Good day, I would like to request for a document on the rules and regulations set by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) regarding commercial buildings near the Loakan Airport, specifically along the edges of the buffer zone, in Baguio City. All information shall be used solely for academic purposes (Architectural Thesis) alone. Thank you!

You asked for Building rules and standards- Loakan Airport Vicinity.

Response to Request

If you are referring to the rules or limitations regarding the construction of buildings nearby an airport, kindly provide a letter (with endorsement from your thesis adviser) stating the background and title of the study. Please include a location plan showing the specific property being the subject of the study and send these to the Operational Safety Division via email at osd@caap.gov.ph.

Below are references for Building Height Regulations:
1. Section 37 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9497 (https://caap.gov.ph/republic-act-no-9497/)
2. Section 707 of the IRR of National Building Code (NBC) 2005 (https://www.dpwh.gov.ph/dpwh/references/laws_codes_orders/PD1096)
