Hi CHED, 

I'd like to ask if Philippine Christian University's Master of Science in Psychology is authorized program by your good office or not. I've learned that they are now just offered this program, just this month of October 2023. 

I also noticed the course descriptions in the curriculum, some of the subjects required for Psychologist Examination are not in the curriculum. Please have it reviewed.

After all the previous issue the school had, I just want to make sure this is legitimate or have your authorization before they offer it to public.

Please be informed that the Commission does not accredit higher education institutions. Accreditation is voluntary and is facilitated by private accrediting agencies such as FAAP. The Commission recognizes the programs of higher education institutions. Please visit the CHED Website (ched.gov.ph) for the list of Graduate programs recognized by CHED for Philippine Christian University thru this link https://ched.gov.ph/list-of-higher-education-institutions-2/graduate-programs/.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to chairperson@ched.gov.ph. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
