Good day,

I would like to have data on the statistics of cybercrime in the Philippines for the past 10 years or it is not possible then just the past 5 years. I currently have a course called Data Journalism wherein one of our major projects is to share our experiences regarding data requests from agencies as well as what we think about the freedom of information in our country.

It would be very much appreciated if my request is granted. I chose this topic because it is one of the things I am quite passionate about. Thank you!

You asked for Statistics on Cybercrime in the Philippines.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. However, our National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT) can only provide a copy of statistics of cybercrime in the Philippines from 2019 – 2020. 
We recommend contacting the Philippine National Police – Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP – ACG) to request further information. You may contact the PNP – ACG at: acg@pnp.gov.ph
