Dear David Josh,

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Dec 01, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for List of Municipal that needs a Municipal Hall.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Municipalities in the Philippines have their own municipal hall/building however, some of them need renovation/repair or even relocation of the need requires it. Such endeavors demand ample amount of budget that is aligned to their purpose, hence, Local Government Units utilize their already approved annual budget or request from the DBM to provide the necessary funds. The necessities are reflected in their annual budget proposals, therefore you may opt to request with the DBM the list of LGUs that requested for fund augmentation for the purpose of repair/renovation or purchase of land/building.
