We are conducting a post qualification of One Merit Global Janitorial Services' Bid, and we want to know if the agency has ever been found guilty, by final judgment, for violation of the provisions of labor code and other pertinent labor laws, since 2021.

Thank you for your request dated Jan 12, 2024 01:05:58 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Good Citizenship Record of One Merit Global Janitorial Services.

It is with deep regret that we could not grant your request as it falls on one of the exemptions provided in the FOI.

 "Information, documents or records known by reason of official capacity and are deemed as confidential, including those submitted or disclosed by entities to government agencies, tribunals, boards, or officers, in relation to the performance of their functions, or to inquiries or investigation conducted by them in the exercise of their administrative, regulatory, or quasi-judicial powers;" is considered as part of information restricted for access of the general public.

Unless you are party to the case, any concerns on the rightful grant of benefits may be resolve by raising the concern on the DOLE RO/FO having jurisdiction to the concerned workplace.

We suggest that you ask the company in question to request for a Certification of No Pending Case to the DOLE Regional/Field Office having jurisdiction to the workplace instead.
