Good day,
My late father, Mario Santiago San Diego, retired from Digitel around 2010 or 2011. He died on 2020 due to organ failure.

It has been years that we tried to claim his SSS death benefit, but we kept on being declined due to lack of documents. His old IDs and documents were destroyed due to natural disaster that hit Balagtas Bulacan during the time he was still alive.

Is it still possible to get a copy of his pay slip from Digitel that has his SSS number or if we can possibly be reissued an old ID from his former employer so we can claim his death benefit once and for all?

Anent your concern, you may coordinate with your father’s former employer for his SSS ID Number and certificate of employment. An affidavit of loss of documents due to calamity may also be executed to support this claim.
