Hello Dole, 

We are conducting a market research for our planned expansion of our business on Legazpi City, Albay.

To help our market research, and have a possible lead if it may be feasible, may we please know what are the major industries that are operating and hiring in the area. If possible, may we also know the specific names  of these companies and their compensation packages / benefits provided.

You asked for Major Business Industries hiring in Legazpi, Albay.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Attached are the statistical data on the employers registered by industry and job vacancies posted in the province of Albay which were generated from the Public Employment Information System (PEIS) being maintained by DOLE thru the Bureau of Local Employment.

Unfortunately, our office cannot provide the specific information you need. Please coordinate with the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) in Legazpi City with office address at 3rd Floor, SM-Legazpi, Legazpi City, Albay or thru their email address at pesolegazpi@gmail.com for other information regarding your request.

Your right to request a review

If you are not satisfied with the response, you may file a written appeal to the DOLE Central Appeals and Review Committee at foi.dole@gmail.com  within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date you received the response. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response. We will complete the review of your appeal  and notify you with the result within 30 calendar days from receipt thereof.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
