Hello HDMF/Pag-Ibig Fund,

I am a graduate student of Mapua University taking Master in Business Analytics.

In line with my final research paper about loan default prediction using machine learning algorithms, I would like to request Pag-Ibig's Multi purpose loan data from Jan. 2016 - Dec. 2021.

With regards Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act), I would like to request that personal, sensitive and private data such as complete name, address, account number, etc. be omitted/masked. Requesting as well that demographic data and loan info (amount, status, etc.) to be included.

Dear Mr. Jairdan Babac:
This refers to your eFOI request received on 07 March 2022 via the eFOI portal of the
Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you requested for the Fund’s Multi-
Purpose Loan Data (demographic data and loan information such as status and
amount) from January 2016 to December 2021.
According to you, this query shall be used for your research paper about loan default
prediction using machine learning algorithms.
As this is for academic purposes, kindly submit the following:
1. A copy of your school ID; and
2. An endorsement of your request using your school letterhead duly signed by
your College Dean.
This is necessary for our records purposes that it is an official activity sanctioned by
your university. Kindly send the scanned copy of your school ID and said endorsement
to efoi@pagibigfund.gov.ph.
Also, after submitting the requirements above, kindly be informed that your request will
still undergo proper evaluation and due to the voluminous information being requested
which needs to be secured from different offices of the Fund, an additional time is
needed by our Office to gather the requested data.
