Dear MS. MARY PAULINE B. GABO,

This refers to your eFOI request received on 16 January 2023 via the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you inquired on the availability of a free housing/lot/benefits/ or any option about housing and lot for solo parents.

We deemed it proper to raise this matter to the Operating Units Concerned (OUC) – the Housing Operations Support Unit (HOpS) and the Servicing Department.

According to the OUC, the Fund does not have any available offer/benefits/grants specifically for solo parents. Nonetheless, the Fund offers discounts under our sale of Pag-IBIG Fund Real and Other Properties Acquired (ROPA), through Second Public Auction and Negotiated Sale to the winning bidder regardless of the buyer’s status.

Under Second Public Auction, discounts shall be given depending on the chosen mode of payment, as follows:

Mode of Payment	Discount

Cash	                                 20%
Short Term Installment	10%
Long Term Installment	None


Under Negotiated Sale, the Fund also grants discount depending on the chosen mode of payment:
