Dear REQUESTOR,

This refers to your eFOI request received on 04 October 2023 via the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) where you requested for a copy of the Study of Housing Situation in the Philippines done with UP-CFAL.

We deemed it proper to raise the matter to the Operating Units Concerned (OUCs) - Research and Development Department (RDD), Housing Operations Support Unit (HOpS) and Corporate Planning Department.

Per the RDD, please be informed that the Fund commissioned UP-CIFAL to conduct a Study of Housing Situation in the Philippines in 2018 and this was reported to the National Human Settlement Board in 2019. 

Meanwhile, please be informed that in accordance with the Fund’s Freedom of Information (Pag-IBIG Fund) Manual, the following are the reasonable cost of reproduction for the release of the requested information or documents: 

a. P5.00 per page for short bond paper 
b. P6.00 per page for long bond paper

Please be advised that the study consist of 448 pages. Nonetheless, we are still coordinating with the OUCs as regards the release of the study. If you would like to proceed with your request, kindly contact us directly via email at efoi@pagibigfund.gov.ph for further coordination.
