Dear MR. KENNETH G. FIRMALO,

This refers to your eFOI request received on 19 May 2023 via the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you asked for assistance regarding the Housing Assistance Program of the Fund to its employees.

We have endorsed your concern to the operating units concerned (OUCs) – the Housing Operation Support Unit (HOpS) and Human Resource Management Department (HRMD). We were informed by said OUCs that the Fund does not have a Housing Assistance Program/Mortgage Discount for its regular employees. Further, the Fund’s employees as Fund members are entitled to avail of the Fund’s programs such as Short-Term Loans and Housing Loans but in accordance with the prevailing guidelines with the Fund and under the same terms and conditions as other members of the Fund.
