Hi! I would like to request for the following data:

1) Demand of glycogen in the cosmetics industry
2) Importation of glycogen powder
2) Cosmetic products using glycogen and its glycogen content percentage

You asked for The Demand of Glycogen in the Cosmetics Industry in the Philippines.

Response to your request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have data on the information you have requested since our agency's mandate is on research and development. However, you may wish to contact the Department of Trade and Industry regarding the demand of glycogen in the cosmetic industry and importation of glycogen powder. You may also coordinate with FDA on the authorized percentage of usage of glycogen.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Department Central Appeals and Review Committee, Department of Science and Technology, General Santos Avenue, Bicutan, Taguig City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.

If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
