I am conducting a thesis where I am to determine the albedo of a surface. With this, I am writing to ask whether the following equipment or instruments are available in DOST: Pyranometer, Spectrophotometer, and Reflectometer.

Response to your request

Please visit this site for the necessary test you wish to avail of. Unfortunately, we don offer equipment rental. https://itdi.dost.gov.ph/index.php/technical-services-fees/testing-and-analysis/std-test-fees. Our expert from the Standard and Testing Division will do the test for you. Please coordinate them through their email at std@itdi.dost.gov.ph.  You may also call them through (632) 868 37750 loc. 2188.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to the Department Central Appeals and Review Committee, Department of Science and Technology, General Santos Avenue, Bicutan, Taguig City.
