We humbly ask your assistance in providing us with the LATEST DATA on the number of licensed medical and allied health professionals, regardless of their position or designation, who are employed by your respective agency/office.
Kindly disaggregate your data according to current position, gender, age, and profession (doctor, nurse, midwife, medtech, psychologist, psychometrician, social worker, among others).
This information will be used to address the current challenges on Philippine health workforce. Thank you very much.

Madam:
This refers to your request lodged in the eFOI Portal dated August 8, 2023 asking for assistance in providing you with the latest data on the number of licensed medical and allied health professionals in this Office.
Under Section V 2(a) of the LCWD FOI Manual, requestor shall fill out the FOI Request Form and submit the same to foi.lcwd@gmail.com. Thus, our FOI Receiving Officer (FRO) contacted you on August 9, 2023 thru your provided email address aealbrando@doh.gov.ph informing you of the said requirement and requested also to submit another valid ID.
Several follow ups were also sent via SMS and email dated August 10, 14, & 16, 2023. Our FRO also called you on August 16, 2023 however, a personnel from your office informed us that you were on sick leave and will just relay to you the requirements as he is also aware of the FOI process.
Please be informed that this Office is already processing your request despite absence of the lacking requirements. This will only be released once the said requirements were submitted to this Office or thru our official FOI email address foi.lcwd@gmail.com.
We are hoping to receive the aforesaid documents on August 25, 2023. Thank you.

Relative to our letter reply dated August 18, 2023, please be informed that your requested information has been available from said date, unfortunately we have yet to receive the required document, which is the duly accomplished LCWD FOI Request Form as stated in the said reply.
To shed light on the matter as to whether or not your request can be released prior to the accomplishment of the LCWD FOI Request Form, as provided by the Freedom of Information – Program Management Office (FOI-PMO), requests lodged in the eFOI portal may be released even without the aforesaid form provided that the information details of the requestor is readily available and complete in the portal. That information details could be considered already as an accomplished request form.
