Your request You asked for PHILIPPINE DURIAN INDUSTRY ROAD MAP. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, the Durian Industry Roadmap is still under development. PCAF's private sector-partners from the Committee on High Value Crops recommended on September 4, 2023 to the Department of Agriculture, through the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards the creation of a Technical Working Group to review and amend the Philippine National Standards on Fresh Durian Specifications. This is one of the steps in the development of the roadmap. The importance of PNS/BAFS 12:2004 is up to date and reflects the latest industry practices, including the physical characteristics and the involvement of stakeholders in the durian industry in the review and amendment process was acknowledged by the Committee.
