Good afternoon Sir/Ma'am, 

As additional reference, may I request for the following data:
1. Number of insurance availed of in the Cordillera by type of insurance product as of December 2022.
2. Targets in the Cordillera Administrative Region for the following indicators from 2023-2028
a. Number of farmers
b. Number of hectares/heads/policies
c. Amount of coverage

This will be used as baseline data and will be included in the CAR RDP 2023-2028 Results Matrix under Chapter 7: Modernizing Agribusiness and Agriculture.

Dear Ms. Alalag:

Good day!

We are pleased to provide you with agricultural insurance coverage data in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) for CY 2022, disaggregated by province per insurance line.

We plan to provide the same level of 2022 accomplishment in agricultural insurance cover in CAR for the years 2023-2024, as our budget for government premium subsidy (GPS) for farmers was maintained for those years.  Though we are aiming for an increase in GPS for the years 2025-2028, there is no assurance that we will be able to get the increase in GPS.

For future request for agricultural insurance data relative to official reports of National Economic and Development Authority – CAR, we would appreciate if you could send directly your request through op@pcic.gov.ph, copy furnish pmio@pcic.gov.ph and arpvd@pcic.gov.ph.
