Hi! I would like to request the claims amount data on rice per farmer in regions II and VIII from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2017 under the Agricultural Insurance Program.

I will be using such data on my special project, where in I will be pricing crop insurance product based on the historical loss and incorporate weather and economic conditions per region.

The names of the farmers will not be needed; only their individual claim amounts and the date paid. If possible, kindly separate data per region as I will be modelling them separately. Thank you!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 2, 2020 5:06 PM on the claims amount data on rice per farmer in Regions II and VIII from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2017 under the Agricultural Insurance Program. 

Attached is the information on your request on the total amount of insurance claims released by the PCIC to rice farmers for the years 2014 to 2017.

The PCIC Automated Business System (PABS) that generates disaggregated data reports was launched on the latter part of 2013, hence we can only provide you with data from this year onwards.
