1. The total number of insured rice cultivating farmers in the Phillippines in 2019

2. list of farmers insured as in the case of rice cultivating farmers in 2019 (in an excel format, not pdf. if not available in pdf format, let me know)
-  including province, premium(peso), amount of area(ha) covered by insurance,  amount of government funding in particular to the covered area(peso)

3. Will the survey that you have conducted in particular to 2nd question be available? if not so, can I know the whole area owned by a particular farmer?

Dear Ms. Minjoo Choi:

In reference to your request through the eFOI portal dated October 15, 2021, 9:15 AM, we are providing you herewith data on insurance coverage of farmers in the Philippines from January 1 to December 31, 2019. We regret to inform that we are unable to provide the actual list of farmers due to privacy concerns, but we can refer you to our Regional Offices for further assistance.

In addition, you have requested for information on the total area owned by the farmers. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance, the Philippine Crop Insurance Corporation does not have this information that you have requested. However, you may wish to contact the Department of Agriculture at +63 (2) 8928-8741 to 64 and +63 (2) 8273-2474 who may be able to help you. 

If you are not satisfied with this response to your FOI request, an appeal may be filed by sending an email to admin@pcic.gov.ph. Your appeal should explain the reason for dissatisfaction, and should be made within fifteen (15) calendar days from receipt of this letter. The PCIC will complete the review and notify you within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the appeal.

If you are not satisfied with result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
