Good day!

I am a graduate student of UP Diliman and currently enrolled in a research paper course. In line with this, I would like to request the raw data of farmers who applied for the crop insurance and those who were accepted for the policy. Please do include socioeconomic variables such as income, age, gender, location and size of farmland etc. of the respondent. Please send the file not in pdf or word format. Thank you very much.

This refers to your request on August 22, 2018 for the raw data of PCIC insured farmers, including socio-economic variables such as income, age, gender, location and size of farmland, and others.

We regret to inform you that in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, we can not grant your request as the data are personal information of farmers which are bound to keep private.  

However, we can provide aggregate data such as number of farmers insured, total amount of insurance cover, and total hectarage insured.

We hope to be of help and service in some other ways.
