This pertains to your Freedom of Information (FOI) request dated 04 January 2024 on the request for total number of lotto bettors per game.
Response to your request
Please be informed that we are unable to provide the number of lotto bettors for the Ultra Lotto 6/58, Grand Lotto 6/55, Super Lotto 6/49, Mega Lotto 6/45 and Lotto 6/42 games for the period CY 2020 up to September 30, 2023, as the previous lottery systems of the PCSO, are already inactive since the implementation of the new unified PCSO Lottery System (PLS) last October 01, 2023.
Relative to this, we have requested the lottery system provider of the PCSO to provide the information on the number of tickets sold for the above stated lotto games since October 01, 2023. However, per information from the system provider, due to the volume of data that needs to be reprocessed, the PLTC estimated that it will take at least a month to provide the requested information of Ms. Malubay. We will coordinate with you once our system provider provides your requested information.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to General Manager, Office of the General Manager at the 4th floor, Sun Plaza Building, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011).
