In compliance with Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016, and by virtue of Special Order No.
019-2021, the undersigned has reviewed the FOI Request made by Ms. Gabryelle Dumalag
requesting the Commission for the following:

1. Number of Demolition activities during the COVID-19 Pandemic
2. Most recent data on urban poor communities and settlers
The prober requested the above-mentioned information for purposes of her research for
special report.
It is the opinion of the undersigned that the request of the prober is a request for a
public document which falls within the ambit of Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016. However, the
only information that the Commission may disclose to the prober is the request for information
regarding the number of demolition activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The prober’s
request for information stated in no. 2 is couched in general terms and does not specify which
data or information is necessary to be disclosed to the prober. As such, the Commission
cannot disclose general data regarding urban poor communities and settlers.
Therefore, it is the recommendation of the undersigned that the Request for Information
be PARTIALLY APPROVED, and that the request for information in nos. 1 be disclosed by the
appropriate division of the Commission.
For your reference and information.
