I would like to know the number of large families here in the Philippines that has a large family that is included in the marginalized sector.

Dear MR. TADIPA:

This has reference to your letter received by our office through the Electronic Freedom of Information (eFOI) Portal, requesting the number of large families in the Philippines that have a large family size which is included in the marginalized sector.

Relative to this, may we inform you that based on the review and assessment conducted by the Freedom and Information (FOI) Officers, the said request has been DENIED on the basis that the request is not within the custody of the Commission. 

Further, may we recommend that the request be directed to the appropriate national government agency specifically the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) which has the custody of data on family sizes and population of the Philippines.
