This has reference to your letter received by our office through Freedom of Information, requesting financial assistance.

Relative to this, may we inform you that based on the review and assessment conducted by the Freedom and Information (FOI) Officers, the said request has been DENIED on the basis that the grant of financial assistance is not within the mandate of the agency. Nevertheless, may we recommend that the request be directed to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the appropriate government agency with programs that provide financial assistance to those qualified individuals.
