Hi,

May i request a certification of insolvency or any kind of certificate,proof or under writing that the bank is already non existent from your good office that a particular bank is no longer existing. Namely 

MALAYBALAY RURAL BANK INC.
JUDGE MURILLO ST. MALAYBALAY CITY BUKIDNON

i need to attached this for us to request for DAR CLEARANCE since we bought a farmlot from them before.

Hope you can help us on this matter.

You asked for Request of certificate of insolvency.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Enclosed is a copy of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Circular Letter No. CL-2022-027 dated 22 March 2022 which contains the information you requested. 

Your right to request a review

Further to our above response, please be informed that the Malaybalay Rural Bank, Inc. was not placed under the receivership of the Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation. Nevertheless, as provided in the attached BSP Circular Letter, which we have downloaded from the website of the BSP at www.bsp.gov.ph,  the bank ceased its operation in view of its voluntary surrender of its banking license.

For information on banks that are not placed under the receivership of the PDIC, you may opt to visit the BSP website mentioned above. On the other hand, we also encourage visiting the PDIC website at pdic.gov.ph for information on banks that has been placed under PDIC receivership.

May we also seek your help to improve our service delivery by answering the attached survey feedback. There is no right or wrong answer. We assure you that all information and answer to this survey will remain confidential.
