To whom it may concern,

My name is Mary Grace Cay. I was about to transfer funds to a Gcash store to cash out the money amouting to P2,225 for my son's medicine. Howver, I have entered an incorrect number. It's supposed to be sent to 09561437122 but it was sent to 09561457122. I've been asking help from GCash thru the app with ticket number 118584931,to refund back to my number 09297034521 but they kept on declining my request. They've been sending generic responses instead of helping me. Please I really need the funds for my son's medicine. They won't listen to me. Please help me 😭

While our aim is to provide information or extend necessary service whenever possible, in this instance this Office is not in the position to be of direct assistance to your situation. However, you may wish to contact the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas at bspmail@bsp.gov.ph, or resubmit your request addressed to the correct agency on the eFOI portal. We shall likewise be endorsing your concern/message to them. 

Please also be informed that electronic money issuers such as GCash is licensed and regulated by the BSP. PDIC on the other hand is a government instrumentality created in 1963 by Republic Act 3591, as amended, to insure the deposits of all banks. PDIC exists to protect depositors by providing deposit insurance coverage for the depositing public and help promote financial stability.
