Hi Can we get a list of requirement for us to get a copy of a cancellation of mortgage from the bank of reina mercedes which is already closed?


My father let my brother in law get a loan from the bank using our land as a collateral. My brother in law have already paid it and we have a copy of receipt. 

My grandfather already died and we are now trying to sell the land and we need a copy of cancellation of mortgage from the close bank. How can we get a copy ?

Response to your request

We are denying your request as it is not within the scope of information or services being covered under the PDIC's FOI Manual. Rather, your request is among the regular services being provided by our office. In this regard and to facilitate initial evaluation of your request, we need additional information and some documents from you. We need the name of the closed bank where the mortgage was made and the name of the borrower or the individual who mortgaged the property. Submission of a clear copy of the certificate of title of the property with annotation of mortgage with a closed bank is likewise needed.
